Associate Principal

Rachel grew up in Cloquet, Minnesota, where she spent long afternoons on construction sites with her grandfather, a residential builder. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for thoughtful design, leading her to earn a degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota with a minor in landscape design. Rachel went on to complete her Master of Architecture at the University of Oregon.

Since moving to Austin in 2018, Rachel has focused on residential design that turns constraints into opportunities. Outside the office, she balances yoga, spicy margaritas, lake days, and a rotating collection of art projects that may or may not ever be finished.

Senior Associate

Moshe was raised in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson, Arizona, where he learned the fundamentals of construction from his father, a builder, and the value of imagination from his mother, a sculptor. These early influences led him to earn a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona.

During his academic career, Moshe helped design and build projects ranging from a grid-shell pavilion in Nova Scotia to a low-income loft house in Tucson, shaping his deep respect for the impact design has on people. After working at an award-winning residential architecture firm in Tucson, he was drawn to Austin’s vibrant creative culture. Outside the office, Moshe enjoys reading, running, rock climbing, camping, and soaking up the sun.

Senior Associate

Bob is a maker by nature and was fascinated early by taking things apart to understand how they work. His interest in creativity and problem-solving made architecture a natural fit. Bob earned a degree in architecture from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee before going on to the University of Michigan, where he spent much of his time in the fabrication lab building furniture, models, and a pavilion later exhibited on campus.

An early stint in flood recovery gave Bob hands-on experience across volunteer coordination, project management, and construction. After graduate school and an internship in Seattle, Bob relocated to Austin, where he now lives with his partner and their many cats. In his free time, he designs and builds custom furniture and millwork in his garage fabrication studio.

Senior Associate

Ben was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he split his time between days on the lake and days on a construction site. That early exposure to building led him to Detroit, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University, developing the technical and creative foundation that would shape his career.

Ben has worked on a range of projects, from small commercial spaces to custom homes, approaching each with a focus on function, design, and collaboration. Outside the office, he enjoys boating, beach volleyball, snowboarding, and traveling with his family.

Associate Designer

Silvana was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where her time was divided between clear-water beaches and adventures with her twin sister. At nine, she moved to Houston, Texas, where her interest in sustainability began to take shape. That passion led her to the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned degrees in Urban Studies and Sustainability.

Silvana went on to complete her Master of Architecture with a focus on sustainable design and the relationship between urban environments, architecture, and ecology. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, long walks, thrift shopping, and spending time with her family, friends, and two cats.

Operations Manager

Carli is based in Austin, Texas, where has honed her skills in a career that spans healthcare, facility operations, and fast-growing tech startups with experience across emergency departments and behavioral health organizations.

As Operations Manager, Carli leads the firm’s administrative efforts and serves as the primary point of contact for general inquiries. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
