Reshaped + Reimagined
Shoalwood Remodel
Add, amend, transform.
remodel / 1,500 sq. ft.
Six years after an earlier addition, this project includes a reimagined kitchen, a new hall bath, and the transformation of an underused screened porch into a flexible living space. The porch was reshaped into a light-filled room that functions as a sunroom, sitting area with a fireplace, and home office. Custom steel and glass elements define the new exterior envelope, complemented by stucco and a fabricated hickory window seat. At the center of the home, a chef’s kitchen serves as the family’s control center, anchoring daily life.
